Join Safran Blades !

Join Safran Blades, a new production plant for titanium compressor blades for aircraft engines, including the LEAP engine, in Marchin (Wallonia-Province of Liège).

This new industrial site will strengthen Safran Aero Boosters' industrial expertise in its flagship product, the low-pressure compressor.

Safran Blades was created in partnership with the Belgian and Walloon federal authorities, Wallonie-Entreprendre and the Société Fédérale des Participations et d'Investissement (SFPIM).

Blades are the hundreds of blades in a compressor," explains François Lepot, CEO of Safran Aero Boosters. They are a key component in our supply chain. Controlling their production, both in technical and logistical terms, will guarantee our performance.

The new 10,000 square metre site will incorporate the best industrial technologies to meet the highest global standards.

Combining automation and the most advanced digital technologies, Plant 4.0 has the ambitious goal of producing more than 2,000 blades a day, while meeting the challenges of sustainable development.
